What the Misfits Do

Local

We serve meals, build things, and renovate spaces all over Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Domestic

We construct and repair buildings in areas of the United States where disaster has struck.

Global

We travel to build churches and meet human needs in other countries.

Get involved where it matters

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

Give to the Misfits

Your generosity makes our work possible. We use 100% of your donations to serve people in need.

Go with the Misfits

We are always looking for volunteer misfits who may fit perfectly into God’s plans.

An All Hands on Deck Ministry

This ministry is all hands-on deck. Everyone is invited to participate and for that, we see God’s increase. This group of Misfits has impacted our church and the community that we serve. They go above and beyond and serve all walks of life.  We have seen countless times from them serving in the kitchen, fixing appliances, building racks in our clothing room just to name a few.

We have had the pleasure of giving the misfits full reign to store stuff as they prepared to go to the disaster area in Houma Louisiana recently. We have been blessed to serve alongside such servants who absolutely love Jesus. They serve with grace, honor, and mercy, and for that our hearts are full. To watch those we serve come alongside us and to see their faith explode. We are truly blessed to call you friends.

Misfitting with My Family

I started doing mission trips to the Dominican Republic back in 2010 and now my sons join me. Some things we may do in the course of a week in Santo Domingo.
  • Lay block for a new church
  • Work to rehab an old building into a medical center
  • Provide 600 meals to hungry children
  • Distribute schools supplies and baseball equipment
  • Visit an orphanage and build picnic tables for them
  • Hang out with kids from Santo Domingo
  • Attend a baseball game in the Dominican

It is such a great way to spend time with my sons and show them how blessed we are to live where we live.
